Jolie boite en métal typiquement Art Déco de la période 1930. Origine Allemande, travail datelier dartiste. Corps cylindrique, 3 pieds en forme de disque.
Lélément le plus distinctif de cette pièce est sans aucun doute son couvercle, de forme concave, finement décoré et travaillé. Au centre on trouve la poignée de forme conique, elle aussi très distinctive.
On aperçoit sous la base la trace dun cachet dartiste, illisible. Diamètre de 10 cm environ. Hauteur (sans la poignée) 4 cm environ. Avec la poignée : 7 cm environ.
Une pièce assez lourde et très décorative. Etat de conservation : globalement très bon état pour son âge. Micro-rayures sur toute la surface.

The prominent collector Giorgio Silzer , born in 1920 in Upper Slesia and died in 2014 at the age of 94, was the solo violin at the Berlin Deutsche Opera House.In addition to his violinist career, he pursued his personal passion: the collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco objects. The Collection Silzer is one of the leading private collections in Germany and in Europe. Since the mid-1970s, Giorgio Silzer made part of his vast collections available to the public and helped to make Art Nouveau and Art Deco known in a more widespread and recognized way. Selected items from the Giorgio Silzer Collection are part of the permanent collections of the following museums. The Art Nouveau collection of the Grassi Museum of Applied Arts in Leipzig (Germany).
